Payment Options

Five Star Companion Care accepts payment for services from Medicaid’s Community Health Choices Keystone First, PA Health and Wellness, UPMC. We also accept Worker’s Compensation, most private insurance and private pay.

Some insurers require that you meet certain qualifying criteria in order for the in-home care services to be paid. Some insurers may limit the number and type of home care visits that they will pay for and may require pre-certification and/or co-payments.

We inform you, your family, caregiver or responsible party of all the charges, qualifying requirements and methods of payment before or upon admissions to our services.

Our agency handles the paperwork for payment of services and bills your insurance on your behalf.
